KATHMANDU, June 13: At least 11 people lost their lives and 119 others were injured in separate road accidents reported from different parts of the country on Friday.
According to the 24-hour traffic data released by Nepal Police, the accidents occurred across all seven provinces in a series of minor and major crashes.
When will it end?
The highest number of fatalities was recorded in Bagmati Province, where nine people died and 33 others were injured.
Similarly, one person died and four were injured in Karnali Province, while Madhesh Province reported one death and 24 injuries. In Koshi Province, 31 people were injured, while 20 were injured in the Kathmandu Valley. Lumbini Province reported six injuries and Sudurpaschim Province one injury. No human casualties were reported from Gandaki Province.
