KATHMANDU, June 16: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Tuesday declined 6.31 points to close at 2,705.45 points.
The secondary market opened at 2,711.76 points and went to a straight fall to reache day’s low at 2,701.74 points within the first half of the trading hours. The market had nominal fluctuations in the remaining period as the index recovered by around four points, before it closed for the day.

Two groups including trading and mutual funds added 10.56 points and 0.01 points, respectively. Of the 11 losers, non-life insurance shed the largest of 45.71 points.
The sensitive index, which measures the performance of ‘A’ class companies, decreased 1.48 points. Daily turnover stood at Rs 4.04 billion, a marginal drop from Rs 4.41 billion on the previous day.
Among the individual companies, 80 were the gainers as 177 lost their charms for the investors. Ankhu Khola Jalvidhyut Company had the largest turnover of its shares worth Rs 319.94 million.
Sayapatri Hydropower Limited recorded as the topmost loser of 4.90 percent. Sopan Pharmaceuticals Limited witnessed the highest rise of 15 percent in its market value.
