KATHMANDU, April 9: Police have arrested 25 individuals from different parts of the country on charges of possessing illegal drugs, according to the Central Police News Room.
Two people were arrested from Kathmandu Metropolitan City–7 with 305 tramadol tablets, while two others were detained from Mitranagar in Kathmandu–26. One person was arrested from Kalika Municipality–2 in Chitwan and two from Madi Municipality–6.

Similarly, one person was apprehended from Baluwatar in Tikapur Municipality–9 of Kailali, three from Bus Chowk in Inaruwa Municipality–4 of Sunsari, and four individuals from Hotel Dolakha Darshan in Mudhe, Lisankhu Pakhar Rural Municipality–5 of Sindhupalchok with brown heroin.
Police also arrested six individuals from Dumre in Urlabari Municipality–2 of Morang, one from Bahundangi Road in Kakarbhitta of Mechinagar Municipality–6, two from Jitpur Simara Sub-Metropolitan City–21 in Bara, two from Fenhara Chowk in Bishnu Rural Municipality–5 of Sarlahi, and one from Ratmate in Gajuri Rural Municipality–2 of Dhading with 30 kilograms of marijuana.
Another individual was arrested from Madhuwan Municipality–6 in Bardiya, according to the police bulletin released on Wednesday.
