APF seize 774 EVs in suspicion of customs evasion

The vehicles were brought under control last night from Jomsom in Mustang, Kushma in Parbat and Hemja in Kaski.

KATHMANDU, June 4: The Armed Police Force (APF) Nepal has seized 774 electric vehicles that entered through the Korala checkpoint in Mustang on suspicion of custom tax evasion.



According to APF's Spokesperson Bishnu Prasad Bhatta, the vehicles were brought under control last night from Jomsom in Mustang, Kushma in Parbat and Hemja in Kaski.

APF deployed personnel from the APF No. 33 Company Mustang, the APF Nepal Myagdi Company, the APF Nepal No. 25 Chandika Battalion, Parbat and the APF Nepal No. 24 Kalika Battalion, Kaski to take the vehicles under control. 


Similarly, two vehicles were also taken under control from the Pasang Lhamu road in Nuwakot.
