GALKOT, May 10: Under the alternative road of the Kaligand corridor, the road connecting Baglung Bazar to Myagdi's Beni will remain closed till May 18.
The District Administration Office (DAO) has said that the road will be closed for the whole day for expansion works. According to the DAO, the Baglung-Beni road section will be closed from 10AM to 4PM till May 18.

In a notice issued by Assistant Chief District Officer Chitrangat Baral, it is mentioned that the road will be closed for expansion and maintenance work in Pangrekhola, which falls under the said road section. During this period, travelers are advised to utilize the Maldhunga-Beni alternative route.
Baglung-Beni road is 14 km long. Although the road from Ratne Chaur to Beni was extended, the road from Baglung to Ratne Chaur was not extended.
The Baglung-Beni road spans a distance of 14 km. While the road from Ratne Chaur to Beni has been extended, the section from Baglung to Ratne Chaur is yet to be upgraded.
