KATHMANDU, July 5: Nepali Communist Party Chair and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said Prime Minister Balendra Shah does not have the capacity to politically “take him down”.
Speaking at a programme in Kathmandu on Sunday, Dahal claimed that compared to CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, Prime Minister Shah posed no such challenge. He said Oli had used all available means to weaken him politically and alleged that, had there been any wrongdoing on his part, Oli would have gone as far as putting him in jail.

Dahal also accused the previous government of filing false cases against his party's co-chair and claimed that he and his party were being deliberately targeted.
Rejecting allegations that he had hidden Rs 140 billion in Dubai, Dahal said the claims were part of a campaign to assassinate his character and spread misinformation.
