KATHMANDU, Oct 1: Chitra Bahadur KC, chairperson of Rastriya Janamorcha Party, has accused the big political parties of turning politics into a business. “Even though the system has changed, the attitude of big parties has not. Due to this, the nation as a whole is in trouble,” he said.

Speaking at a press meet organized by the Progressive Journalists Association, Baglung, on Friday, he said, “The political parties are demanding monarchy out of anger. They don’t seem to acknowledge the democratic and republic system we have brought through struggle.” He also said that the political parties seem to act as the guardians of the nation when they are not in government but act selfishly and focus on themselves when in power.
