KATHMANDU, June 26: The British Council Nepal recognised its top-performing IELTS registration partners at the IELTS Partner Summit 2026 held on June 25, according to a press release.
The summit brought together IELTS registration partners from across Nepal to acknowledge their contribution to supporting students and professionals seeking international education, employment and migration opportunities through the English language proficiency test.
According to the British Council, the event also highlighted its partnership with the IELTS registration network and reaffirmed a shared commitment to expanding access to international qualifications and educational opportunities in Nepal.
11 steps to achieving a high IELTS score
The awards recognised outstanding partners for their contribution to IELTS registrations between April 2025 and March 2026. A total of 15 awards were presented across different categories.
Orbit Medical Entrance Pvt. Ltd. received the Platinum Partner Award, while the Educational Consultancy Association of Nepal (ECAN) won the Top Association Award.
KIEC Learning Centre Pvt. Ltd. received the Gold Award, The Next Education Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. secured the Silver Award, while Bronze Awards were presented to Expert Education and Visa Services, AECC Study Abroad Consultants Pvt. Ltd., A.O.P. Global Consultants, IELTS Center Pvt. Ltd. and Bridge International Group Pvt. Ltd.
According to the release, British Council Nepal has also been organising Pre-Partner Summits across all IELTS test locations in Nepal since 2025 to recognise high-performing regional partners. Certificates were presented to The Next Education Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. (Chitwan and Hetauda), Expert Education and Visa Services (Dang Ghorahi and Nepalgunj), Sumedha Education Network Pvt. Ltd. (Itahari and Biratnagar), Birtamod Education Foundation Pvt. Ltd. (Birtamod) and Miracle Institute Pvt. Ltd. (Pokhara).
The British Council also announced that it is expanding its IELTS offering by introducing IELTS on Computer alongside IELTS on Paper, stating that the move aims to provide greater flexibility and faster results for test takers. The organisation further said it is expanding its Corporate English Solutions portfolio to support employers and institutions with English language teaching, learning and assessment services.
