Chairperson of Film Development Board Nikita Paudel resigns
Chairperson of Film Development Board, Nikita Paudel announced her resignation releasing a press statement on Tuesday, according to which she no longer holds the position of chairperson effective from Wednesday.

Paudel who was appointed the chairperson of Film Development Board on December 11, 2017 stated, “I need my time for myself, so I will not be able to perform my duty wholeheartedly. So, if I stay in the position, I won’t be able to justify my professional work. Hence, I am resigning from the post.”
Paudel said that she got opportunity to introduced box-office tabulator for the first time in the history of Nepali film industry.
