Chief Secretary Aryal calls on civil servants to strengthen public service delivery

LALITPUR, June 23: Chief Secretary Suman Raj Aryal has stressed the need for civil servants to work with honesty and dedication to ensure more effective public service delivery across the country.



Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 40th basic training programme for newly appointed Gazetted Third Class Section Officers, organized by the Nepal Administrative Staff College, Aryal urged officials to prioritize national service over personal interests.

He called on the new section officers to remain committed to serving citizens and to uphold the dignity and responsibility of their positions.


“When working in line with the state’s policies and objectives, employees must rise above personal interests and remain transparent, accountable, and service-oriented,” he said.


Aryal emphasized that strengthening public service delivery requires integrity, professionalism, and a citizen-centered approach from all levels of government administration.
