KATHMANDU, Aug 27: The death toll from the devastating flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa has reached 359, according to Nepal Police.
In its latest update issued at 5 p.m. Thursday, police said 359 bodies had been recovered from various flood-affected areas.

The bodies were recovered from Rasuwa (17), Dhading (33), Gorkha (30), Nawalparasi East (82), Nuwakot (28), Chitwan (132), Tanahun (22) and Nawalparasi West (15).
Meanwhile, 63 people injured in the disaster are receiving treatment at various hospitals in Kathmandu, police said.
Search and rescue operations are continuing in the affected areas.
