Deuba to return today, rival faction prepares musical welcome

KATHMANDU, Aug. 13: Former Prime Minister and former president of the Nepali Congress (NC) Sher Bahadur Deuba is set to return to Nepal today (Thursday) after spending six months abroad for medical treatment.



The rival faction of the NC is preparing to welcome Deuba at Tribhuvan International Airport with musical fanfare and cultural performances.

According to NC leader Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat, Deuba is scheduled to arrive in Kathmandu at 12:30 PM on Thursday.


Deuba will participate in the opposition faction’s national gathering at Miracle Party Venue in Sukedhara on Friday.
