KATHMANDU, Sept 10: The Nepal Army completed installation of an Acrow bridge at Devighat in Nuwakot on Wednesday night, just five days after work began, restoring transport access after a permanent bridge was swept away by the Bhote Koshi flood in Rasuwa.
According to the latest information from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, an army team worked continuously to complete the bridge installation. The bridge will open to pedestrians from today, while vehicles will be allowed to use it from tomorrow.

The flood destroyed the permanent bridge, cutting off transport links between Nuwakot and surrounding areas. The rapid installation of the bridge has provided relief to local residents, traders and travellers.
Home Minister Sudhan Gurung also announced the completion on social media, writing, “Mission completed successfully.”
