JANAKPURDHAM, Aug. 6: The Dhanusha District Court disposed of 5,216 cases in the fiscal year 2025/26.
Information Officer Hem Kumar Mahato said the court registered 5,844 new cases during the fiscal year and carried over 4,231 pending cases from previous years, bringing the total caseload to 10,075.

Of these, the court resolved 5,216 cases, leaving 5,059 cases pending at the end of the fiscal year. In the previous fiscal year, the court had disposed of 5,701 cases.
Mahato said the court has introduced an automated hearing system to ensure a faster, more efficient, and transparent justice delivery process.
