KATHMANDU, Oct 1: The country is currently under the influence of monsoon and local winds, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).
Heavy rainfall likely in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini
Skies are expected to stay mostly cloudy nationwide. Moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely at some places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as a few places elsewhere. Heavy rainfall is expected at one or two locations in Koshi and in the hilly regions of Bagmati and Gandaki, the MFD reported.
By nightfall, the skies are likely to remain cloudy across the nation. Moderate rain with thunder and lightning is forecast at some places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, and at a few places in the rest of the country. The MFD has also warned of heavy downpours at one or two locations in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
