KATHMANDU, Dec 31: An election officer’s office has been established in Gandaki Province for the upcoming election of members to the National Assembly.
According to Rudra Neupane, information officer at the Provincial Election Office, the office has been set up within the premises of the provincial election office in Pardhi, Pokhara.

The election to fill two National Assembly seats from Gandaki Province, which will soon fall vacant, is scheduled for January 25. The polls will be held under the women and other cluster categories.
Neupane said the voter list will be published on January 3, while the deadline for filing candidate nominations is January 7.
