Speaking at the inauguration, Facial House founder Sushma Mahara said the new branch would make quality beauty and skincare services more accessible to residents of Sitapaila and nearby areas.
"Customers from this area previously had to travel to other parts of Kathmandu to receive our services. With the opening of this branch, they will now have convenient access to quality beauty and skincare treatments closer to home," Mahara said, adding that the company plans to continue expanding its network.
Former Nepal Chamber of Commerce President Rajesh Kazi Shrestha said the growth of private enterprises plays an important role in generating employment and strengthening the national economy. He noted that Facial House has created jobs for more than 200 people, describing it as a significant contribution to the country's economic development.
"Employment generation is one of the greatest contributions any business can make. Facial House has provided opportunities to hundreds of young people while contributing to the national economy," he said.
Media entrepreneur and immediate past President of the Federation of Women Entrepreneurs' Associations of Nepal, Shova Gyawali, praised the company's sustained commitment to the beauty industry.
"It is inspiring to see a business built through nearly three decades of dedication to a single sector. Facial House has demonstrated that women entrepreneurs can make meaningful contributions to business growth, employment generation and the national economy," she said.
Nepal Chamber of Commerce Vice President Urmila Shrestha said Facial House has contributed not only to the beauty industry but also to skincare treatment, skills development and women's economic empowerment.
"This sector extends beyond beauty services. It supports vocational skills, creates employment and empowers women economically. The expansion of such enterprises has a positive impact on the overall economy," she said.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by representatives from the beauty industry, business community and social sector. The company said the new branch will enable customers in Sitapaila and surrounding areas to access modern, technology-based beauty and skincare services more conveniently.
