KATHMANDU, Aug 30: A woman has died in a bus accident at 56 Kilo in Bhumlu Rural Municipality-10 of Kavrepalanchowk along the Araniko Highway.
On Thursday evening, a bus (Ba 2 Kha 9064) en route to Barhabise from Kathmandu, hit the woman while she was walking on the road.

According to the District Police, Kavrepalanchowk, the injured woman was taken to Dhulikhel Hospital for treatment, where she was declared dead. Her identity has not been revealed yet.
Following the accident, the police have detained the bus driver, 51-year-old Ram Bahadur Tamang from Balephi Rural Municipality-8 in Sindhupalchok.
