BIRENDRANAGAR, June 1: Eight people were injured after a Bolero jeep met with an accident on an inner road section at Kalgauda in Bhairavi Rural Municipality-7 of Dailekh on Sunday afternoon.
According to police, the double-cab Bolero jeep (Su.P. 01-001 Cha 4964), which was travelling from Surkhet to Kalikot, reportedly suffered a brake failure at around 12:55 PM and plunged about 300 to 400 metres off the road.

Preliminary information shows that eight people—seven men and one woman—were travelling in the vehicle. Police said the identities of the injured have yet to be confirmed.
Five of the injured were sent to Dailekh District Hospital for treatment. Rescue efforts for the remaining three injured passengers were still underway at the time of reporting.
Police said further details about the incident are being collected.
