KATHMANDU, June 18: The District Administration Office of Sindhupalchok has urged residents living near the Bhotekoshi and Sunkoshi rivers to remain alert due to potential flood risks.

Assistant Chief District Officer (CDO) Ganesh Nepali issued a public notice on Wednesday warning of possible dangers. The notice cites information from Chinese authorities that heavy rainfall is expected in the Tibet region from June 17 to 21, which could raise water levels in the rivers.
