Fog, mist likely in some parts of Tarai until noon today

It will be generally cloudy in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, while remaining partly cloudy in other hilly and mountainous areas. The weather in the Tarai region will mostly remain clear.

KATHMANDU, Feb 14: The westerly wind is currently influencing the weather system in Nepal. The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) stated that the weather will be partly cloudy across the country, with fog and mist expected in some parts of the Tarai region until noon today.



It will be generally cloudy in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, while remaining partly cloudy in other hilly and mountainous areas. The weather in the Tarai region will mostly remain clear.

The MFD has also stated that there is a possibility of light rain or snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces today.


Tonight, a few areas of the Tarai region are expected to experience fog. The high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces will see partly cloudy conditions, while the rest of the country will remain mostly clear.


According to the MFD, there is a possibility of light rain or snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces tonight.
