Forex update: US dollar selling at Rs 151.10

According to the latest rates, the buying rate for one US dollar stands at Rs 150.50, up from Rs 150.28 recorded on Friday, while the selling rate has increased from Rs 150.88.

KATHMANDU, April 26: The exchange rate of the US dollar has continued to rise, with its selling price reaching Rs 151.10 on Sunday.



According to the latest rates, the buying rate for one US dollar stands at Rs 150.50, up from Rs 150.28 recorded on Friday, while the selling rate has increased from Rs 150.88.


Among other major currencies, the euro’s selling rate has been fixed at Rs 177.07, while the British pound sterling stands at Rs 204.04. The Australian dollar is being sold at Rs 108.06.

Similarly, the selling rate of the Canadian dollar is Rs 110.39, while the Singapore dollar is being traded at Rs 118.42.


Other notable exchange rates include the Swiss franc at Rs 192.40 (selling), Chinese yuan at Rs 22.10, and Japanese yen (per 10 units) at Rs 9.48.


In the Gulf currencies, the Saudi riyal is being sold at Rs 40.29, Qatari riyal at Rs 41.45, and UAE dirham at Rs 41.14. Likewise, the Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 38.11.


Among European currencies, the Swedish krona is priced at Rs 16.38, while the Danish krone is at Rs 23.69. The Hong Kong dollar has a selling rate of Rs 19.29.


High-value currencies such as the Kuwaiti dinar, Bahraini dinar, and Omani riyal are being traded at Rs 492.82, Rs 400.16, and Rs 392.46 respectively.
