Gandaki govt to contribute Rs 40 million to PM Disaster Relief Fund

GANDAKI, Aug 28: Gandaki Province government has decided to provide Rs 40 million assistance for the support of Rasuwa's Bhotekoshi flood victims.



Issuing a press release on Friday, Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey shared that the decision was taken to deposit such an amount in the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund.

Chief Minister Pandey mentioned that the Gandaki Province government has been making coordination with bodies concerned for the search of the missing people and appropriate management of dead bodies. 


"I request all the bodies concerned to be effectively mobilized for the search, rescue efforts, treatment for injured ones, safe shelter for homeless and affected people and make necessary arrangements of relief," reads the statement.
