RAUTAHAT, Feb 24: Police have arrested two more individuals for their alleged involvement in the vandalism and arson that took place in Sabgadha, Ward-6 of Gaur Municipality in Rautahat.
The suspects were taken into custody on Monday during an investigation into the violent incident that occurred on February 21. They have been identified as Shubh Narayan Shah and Samir Miya.

According to Bishnu Pradip Basyal, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Rautahat, and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), a case has been filed against them under charges of criminal mischief and arson. Further investigation is underway.
With the latest arrests, the total number of individuals arrested and charged in connection with the Sabgadha incident has reached 20. DSP Basyal said all 20 suspects have been remanded in custody after the court extended their detention for further investigation.
The incident occurred on February 21 after a dispute between two groups in the Sabgadha area escalated into vandalism and arson. Police have since detained suspected individuals and initiated legal proceedings.
