He was initially rushed to Kirtipur Hospital, where doctors conducted medical examinations, including X-rays, before referring him to Teaching Hospital for specialized treatment, Pandey said in a social media post.
The alleged assault occurred when Ansari, along with fellow Gen Z activists Monika Niraula, Riya Baniya and Sarisma Thapa, visited the Radha Soami Beas squatter holding center in Kirtipur to assess the condition of families displaced by recent flooding. The activists have accused police of assaulting and detaining them during the visit.
Police have not yet issued an official statement regarding the incident.
