KATHMANDU, May 13: Gold prices in the domestic market fell on Wednesday compared to Tuesday, while silver prices edged higher.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of hallmark gold dropped by Rs 700 per tola, while silver increased by Rs 15 per tola.

Today, hallmark gold is priced at Rs 302,200 per tola, while silver is being traded at Rs 5,710 per tola. On Tuesday, gold was traded at Rs 302,900 per tola, while silver stood at Rs 5,695 per tola, the FENEGOSIDA said.
In the international market, gold is being traded at USD 4,725 per ounce, while silver is priced at USD 87 per ounce, according to international media reports.
