KATHMANDU, May 10: The price of gold has declined at the start of the week, while silver has recorded a slight increase.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has dropped by Rs 1,000 per tola compared to last Friday. Gold is now being traded at Rs 298,900 per tola, down from Rs 299,900.

In contrast, silver has increased by Rs 25 per tola, reaching Rs 5,300 from Rs 5,275 previously.
In the international market, gold is trading at around USD 4,715.6 per ounce, while silver is priced at USD 80.39 per ounce.
