KATHMANDU, June 28: Gold and silver prices rose sharply in the domestic market on Saturday, with fine gold gaining Rs 4,700 per tola compared to Friday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 283,800 per tola, up from Rs 279,100 per tola on Friday.

Silver also increased by Rs 145 per tola, reaching Rs 4,325 per tola, compared to Rs 4,180 per tola in the previous trading session.
In the international market, gold was trading at USD 4,008 per ounce, while silver stood at USD 56 per ounce.
