Gold price plunges by Rs 4,500 per tola in Nepali market

Traders attributed the decline in domestic gold and silver prices to fluctuations in the international market.

KATHMANDU, June 30: Gold and silver prices continued their downward trend in the Nepali market on Tuesday, with gold witnessing a sharp drop of Rs 4,500 per tola.



According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), gold was traded at Rs 277,900 per tola on Tuesday, down from Rs 282,400 on Monday after a decline of Rs 1,400.

Similarly, the price of silver fell by Rs 25 per tola to Rs 4,285 on Tuesday. Silver was traded at Rs 4,310 per tola on Monday after dropping by Rs 15.


Traders attributed the decline in domestic gold and silver prices to fluctuations in the international market.
