KATHMANDU, July 12: Gold prices increased in the domestic market on Sunday, the first trading day of the week, while silver prices edged lower.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of fine gold rose by Rs 600 per tola, reaching Rs 288,000 per tola from Rs 287,400 on Friday.

Silver, meanwhile, fell by Rs 35 per tola. It is now being traded at Rs 4,475 per tola, down from Rs 4,510 on Friday.
