KATHMANDU, June 11: Gold and silver prices continued their downward slide in the domestic market on Wednesday, reflecting a broader weakening trend in precious metals.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), gold price dropped by Rs 5,100 per tola, while silver declined by Rs 90 per tola.
Gold and silver prices remain steady
Following the latest adjustment, gold is being traded at Rs 286,700 per tola. Silver is priced at Rs 4,650 per tola.
On Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs 291,800 per tola, while silver stood at Rs 4,740 per tola, highlighting a sharp single-day decline.
In the international market, gold is trading at around USD 4,100 per ounce, while silver is hovering at about USD 63 per ounce, according to international media reports.
