Gold, silver prices continue to decline in Nepali market

Compared to Tuesday, the price of gold fell by Rs 600 per tola, while silver dropped by Rs 15.

KATHMANDU, July 1: Gold and silver prices declined slightly in the domestic market on Wednesday. Compared to Tuesday, the price of gold fell by Rs 600 per tola, while silver dropped by Rs 15.



According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 277,300 per tola, while silver is being traded at Rs 4,270 per tola.

On Tuesday, gold was traded at Rs 277,900 per tola and silver at Rs 4,285 per tola, FENEGOSIDA said.


According to international media reports, gold was trading at USD 3,986 per ounce and silver at USD 58 per ounce in the international market on Wednesday.
