KATHMANDU, July 22: Gold and silver prices rose sharply in the domestic market on Wednesday, with gold gaining Rs 5,400 per tola and silver increasing by Rs 110 per tola compared to Tuesday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 291,000 per tola, while silver is trading at Rs 4,480 per tola.
Gold and silver prices remain steady
On Tuesday, fine gold was priced at Rs 285,600 per tola, while silver was traded at Rs 4,370 per tola.
According to international media reports, gold was trading at around US$4,139 per ounce, while silver was trading at US$59 per ounce in the international market.
