Responding to concerns raised by lawmaker Bhuwan Kumar Sunar during a session of the National Assembly on Friday, Minister Rawal said the issues raised were related to tenancy rights.
She said the government was working to ensure farmers become the rightful owners of the land.
"Clause 25 of the Lands Act, 2021 BS, has ensured tenancy rights, and the government is committed to implementing it," she said.
According to the minister, work has already begun to address land-related issues in some areas.
