BAITADI, Dec 17: Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development, Hit Raj Pandey, has said the government is now focused on implementing the constitution and holding local body election.
The Minister made the remark after declaring Siddheshwor VDC of Baitadi as child-friendly VDC on Friday. He said the government was ready to hold the three-tier election.

Stating that a long-term plan is needed for development of any settlement, Minister Pandey pledged government's readiness to support the concept of integrated settlement introduced by the Dhurmus – Suntali Foundation.
The government is effortful in making all the VDCs, municipalities, provinces and the entire country child – friendly, he added. He assured of additional budget for the VDCs that address the child-friendly indicators. RSS
