KATHMANDU, June 28: The government on Sunday tabled four replacement bills in the House of Representatives to replace ordinances issued earlier.
The bills include the Public Procurement (Second Amendment) Bill, 2083, the Money Laundering Prevention (Third Amendment) Bill, 2083, the Cooperative (First Amendment) Bill, 2083, and the Bill to Amend Certain Nepal Acts Related to Health Science Academies, 2083.
Cabinet approves six bills as HoR adjourns for six days
According to the government, the bills were introduced to replace the ordinances through the regular legislative process and provide them with legal validity.
The proposed laws aim to strengthen governance in key sectors, enhance financial transparency, and improve the effectiveness of the health and cooperative sectors.
