KATHMANDU, June 9: The government has decided to receive the report submitted by the probe committee formed to investigate issues related to former Home Minister Sudan Gurung.
Announcing the decisions of Tuesday’s Cabinet meeting, government Spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel said the report would be studied before moving ahead with further procedures.

He also clarified that no decision has been made so far to reappoint Gurung as Home Minister.
Gurung had earlier resigned from the post following various controversies, including allegations related to assets. The government had formed a committee to investigate the matter.
