Govt unveils lists of 61 firms left to clear dues of dedicated feeders totaling Rs 26.95 billion

The outstanding controversial dues of 61 consumers who consumed electricity through dedicated feeder/trunk lines have reached Rs 26.95 billion.

KATHMANDU, June 8: The outstanding controversial dues of 61 consumers who consumed electricity through dedicated feeder/trunk lines have reached Rs 26.95 billion.



According to the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, the total outstanding bill amount, including interest and penalty, as of mid-December 2025 has crossed Rs 26.95 billion. The outstanding due up to mid-July 2025 was recorded at Rs 26.33 billion.

Of the lists of defaulters unveiled by the government, Jagadamba Steel Pvt Ltd has the largest amount of arrears worth Rs 4.69 billion under the heading.
