Minister Gurung visited the site following reports of land encroachment by various social organizations and the construction of structures intended to lease the property for commercial purposes.
Earlier, the hospital administration had issued a 15-day ultimatum to remove the structures built on the encroached land.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Gurung said no one would be spared for encroaching on public land, adding that such acts are against the law.
He said the local administration and security agencies would be fully mobilized to clear the hospital's land.
Likewise, Minister Mehta said it was unfortunate that the illegally constructed structures had not been removed even after the deadline set by the hospital had expired. She vowed to clear the site within a week.
