KATHMANDU, July 2: A directive has been issued to all District Administration Offices (DAOs) across the country to take legal action against the health facilities not adhering to the arrangements specified in the Target Group Free Treatment Portal (Operation and Management) Procedure, 2083.

A circular issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday directs the DAOs to immediately make arrangements for providing discounts/benefits after ascertaining whether the facilities stipulated in the procedure are being offered to the beneficiaries and penalize the health facilities for failing to do so.
