HoR election: Results of 132 constituencies out, RSP wins 104 seats so far

KATHMANDU, March 8: Results of 132 out of 165 constituencies under the first-past-the-post system of the House of Representatives election have been made public by the Election Commission (EC).

As of 10:50 AM today, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has secured victory in 104 constituencies and is leading in 21 others. The Nepali Congress (NC) has won 14 constituencies and is leading in three more.


The CPN-UML has won seven constituencies and is leading in three others. The Nepali Communist Party (NCP) has won four seats and is leading in three constituencies. One candidate each from the Shram Sanskriti Party and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party has been elected, while an independent candidate has also won a seat.
