KATHMANDU, Aug 24: The House of Representatives (HoR) of the Federal Parliament is scheduled to meet today at 1:00 pm, with relevant ministers set to respond to lawmakers’ queries.
Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle, on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, is expected to propose sending the First Amendment Bill, 2083 BS, concerning the remuneration and services of constitutional office bearers, to the relevant committee for further deliberation.

Similarly, Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal will present a proposal to send the Passport (First Amendment) Bill, 2083 BS, to the relevant committee for detailed discussion.
Minister Sita Badi will also propose sending the Human Trafficking and Transportation (Control) (First Amendment) Bill, 2083 BS, to the relevant committee for further deliberation, while Minister Gauri Kumari is expected to propose sending the Mines and Minerals Bill, 2083 BS, to the relevant committee.
Meanwhile, five parliamentary committees are scheduled to meet today: the International Relations and Tourism Committee, Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee, Infrastructure Development Committee, Legislation Management Committee, and Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee.
