KATHMANDU, Sept 10: Police have detained 33-year-old Bhaktiraj Rai from Lalitpur on the charge of killing his wife.
According to the District Police Office, Lalitpur, Bhaktiraj, originally from Diprung Chuinchumma Rural Municipality-7 in Khotang. and currently residing in Lalitpur, has been arrested for allegedly murdering his wife.

On August 28, 35-year-old Shashikala Rai was found dead in her room in, Dhapakhel, Lalitpur Metropolitan City-24.
Police investigation has revealed the husband's involvement in the incident, and further investigation is underway by the Satdobato Police Circle.
