KHALANGA, March 28: A man has died after his under-construction house collapsed. His wife was also seriously injured in the incident, and is still in critical condition.
Ratna Raj Giri succumbed to his injuries sustained in the incident that took place on Wednesday at his under-construction house in ward no. 5 of Guthichaur rural municipality. The two-storey house was being constructed in their apple farm in Bakhrechaur, according to the District Police Office, Jumla.

Giri died during treatment at the Karnali Institute of Health Sciences, Teaching Hospital in Jumla. His wife is still undergoing treatment at the same hospital and her condition is reported to be critical, according to Dr Pujan Rokaya at the hospital.
