ICC World Cup League 2 : Scotland set 195-run target for Nepal

KATHMANDU, May 18: In the ICC World Cup League 2 match held in Kathmandu, Scotland set a target of 195 runs for Nepal.



At the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Scotland were bowled out for 194 runs in 39.1 overs after winning the toss and electing to bat first, according to match reports.

Batsman Brandon McMullen top-scored for Scotland with 73 runs off 44 balls, hitting 6 fours and 6 sixes in an aggressive innings.


For Nepal, left-arm spinner Lalit Rajbanshi took 4 wickets, while star leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane claimed 3 wickets, helping restrict Scotland under 200.


The match is part of the ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 series, featuring Associate cricket nations competing for qualification pathways to the World Cup.
