KATHMANDU, Sept 13: A mass protest has been organized at Maitighar Mandala demanding justice for Nirmala Panta. During the mass meeting, organized by the civil society, parents of victim Panta were present demanding the justice for their daughter.
Speaking on behalf of Pant’s parents, who were very emotional during the protest, the participants said that they have organized the program at Maitighar Mandala to stimulate the government for the justice for Nirmala Panta.

“We have organized the protest at Maitighar Mandala, adjacent to Singha Durbar, to convey our message to the government as it did not listen to our voice from Kanchanpur", they said.
“It has been already 49 days but we are still waiting for the real culprit to be dragged for justice. But the government has disregarded our voice”, they said.
During the program, the participants light candles in memory of Nirmala Panta.
