India hands over over 7,000 helmets to Nepal Police in Birgunj

Officials said the support is expected to enhance the safety and efficiency of Nepal’s security personnel in the field.

BIRGUNJ, June 6: India handed over more than 7,000 protective helmets to Nepal Police in Birgunj on Friday, aimed at strengthening the safety and operational capacity of law enforcement agencies.

Shri Devi Sahai Meena, Consul General of India in Birgunj, formally handed over the helmets to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shanti Raj Koirala of Nepal Police, Parsa, at a ceremony held in the city.


Officials said the support is expected to enhance the safety and efficiency of Nepal’s security personnel in the field.
