KATHMANDU, Sept 16: Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava paid a farewell call on Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Singha Durbar on Wednesday.
During the meeting, Khanal congratulated Srivastava on the successful completion of his tenure and praised his role in further deepening and broadening Nepal-India relations.

Khanal discussed significant progress in bilateral cooperation in energy, trade, infrastructure and connectivity, as well as the people-to-people ties between the two countries.
He also expressed gratitude for India’s solidarity with Nepal following the devastating Bhotekoshi River floods and its prompt assistance in search, rescue and relief operations after the disaster.
Khanal wished Srivastava success in his future endeavors and expressed confidence that he would continue to remain a good friend of Nepal.
During the meeting, Srivastava expressed appreciation for the support and cooperation extended by the Government of Nepal during his tenure. He also expressed confidence that Nepal-India relations would grow stronger and more prosperous in the coming days.
