KATHMANDU, March 29: Defending champions Royal Challengers Bangalure have made a winning start to the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Bangaluru made a winning start by defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad by 6 wickets in their opening match on Saturday.

Chasing a target of 202 runs set by Sunrisers, Royal Challengers achieved it in 15.4 overs for the loss of 4 wickets. Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal made half-centuries for them.
Kohli top-scored with 69 runs while Padikkal added 61 runs. Similarly, Captain Rajat Patidar contributed 31 runs.
Earlier, Sunrisers, who had lost the toss and batted first, scored 201 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Captain Ishan Kishan top-scored with 80 runs, while Aniket Verma contributed 43.
Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders will play against each other on Sunday.
