Driven initially by superstar Anmol KC’s star power, the film made a strong opening. Positive word-of-mouth helped it sustain momentum, turning it into a long-running box-office performer. Directed by Suyog Gurung, the film blends social, family and romantic themes while powerfully presenting the story of Mount Everest—Nepal’s enduring symbol of national identity.
The film, which highlights a daring mountaineering narrative, has been widely praised on social media for promoting Nepal’s tourism image on the international stage. The cast includes Anmol KC, Aanchal Sharma, Jassita Gurung, Bhuwan KC, Kedar Ghimire and Usha Khadgi in key roles.
